Abuja
Why do we, when we are depressed say "i feel blue" and also when someone is from a royal family we say "they have blue blood"....something to think about but don't let me "blue" you with that.
Ok, i was going through internet pictures of some buildings in abuja and i was dazed!!!, i was seeing the pictures and just moaning and groaning, if you were in the next room to mine you would have being thinking otherwise...one that moved me and made me bite my pillow was this one.
there were so many images, i just wanted to leave this country and move back to Nigeria, but the amazing thing also was that the images were uploaded in 2007!!! 2 years ago... imagine it now??
here is another one...
Here is the link to all the pictures and don't moan and groan too loudly so your neighbours don't look at you weird oo....lol. For those of you in abuja, i know this is a day in day out stuff, but for us that have not been to the country in three or more years, it is a M & G experience.

Guess some good things are in Nigeria too....LOL....
I know what you mean...
I recently moved to Abuja and i still find a lot of buildings fascinating!
Thanks for stopping by mine, how you doing?
nice buildings...from a different perspective, it shows that Nigeria is more advanced than the rest of the world thinks. And dont be deceived, Nigeria is a wealthy country lots of opportunity for startup businesses. I would say tho, as nice as those buildings are u just never know...something like 'dont envy the riches of sinners, for you do not know what disaster awaits them'. Not to say that the houses are of sinners but as a general rule of thumb take everything with a grain of salt. On a lighter note, Nigeria needs entreprenuers to bring it up to international standard...people like me and you so lets hurry up and move back.I have a dream...that one day my kids will go on vacation not to shop but just to enjoy other scenery and change of environment because everything they need they can get in the great country Nigeria!
So when are you coming to Abuja, traveler?
I asked that you send me a mail. send a blank mail.
But, Nigerians have a love for grand architecture. We like grand things in general. Check out the site happylagosians.blogspot.com. It has pics from lagos and lots of buildings are included. Actually there is a link to the site on the blogroll at my Nigerian Curiosity site.
